On September 7, 2026, Fraser stood at the Deauville American Film Festival in France, accepted the festival’s Talent Award, and told the interviewer he had to be at work Monday morning. He headed straight to London. Where the cameras started rolling. Now the production is in Morocco.

Hercule Poirot is coming back. Hercule – a six-part BBC One and BritBox drama from Mammoth Screen and Agatha Christie Productions – has commenced filming in Liverpool, with Edward Bluemel taking on one of the most scrutinised roles in British television as a young Poirot navigating his earliest cases. Liam Neeson is behind the wheel again. The Mongoose opens in cinemas on October 30, 2026 – a cross-country car chase thriller filmed almost entirely in Victoria, Australia, standing in for the American South and Southwest. It is Neeson’s third film in Victoria in four years.

Snow machines in a Regency market street. In September. Under a sunny Sussex sky. That is how Netflix’s new Pride and Prejudice got its winter scenes in Rye, and it is a good clue to how much effort went into building Jane Austen’s England. The story is set in Hertfordshire, but the production travelled well beyond it.

A pig in the pram on Church Street, Whitby. Nicola Coughlan at a seaside café in Saltburn. Dame Imelda Staunton near a town hall dressed as a theatre with giant paper animal puppets. Netflix’s new live-action Roald Dahl adaptation has been darting around the North of England since mid-August 2026 – and it is exactly as gloriously strange as the source material suggests. Filming runs to mid-December 2026.

A beachclub on the sand of Ameland. A striking harbour building in Harlingen. A working fishing harbour between two UNESCO nature reserves. Eb – the Dutch crime thriller that opened in cinemas on May 14, 2026 and is now in the Top 10 on Netflix – was filmed entirely in Frisian north.

Season 1 pulled 20 million views in its first five weeks. Netflix renewed it in September 2025, weeks after the season finale aired. By November 17 – barely four months after season 1 premiered – cameras were already rolling on season 2. The Hunting Wives season 2 premieres on Netflix on November 26, 2026 – Thanksgiving Day. Eight episodes. Filmed in North Carolina.

Wayne, New Jersey did not expect to wake up in 1985. But in October, 2026, a production crew transformed part of the Preakness Shopping Center into a period Miami streetscape – retro storefronts, box trucks full of props and towering palm trees in the carpark. Filming for Miami Vice '85 – Joseph Kosinski's IMAX reboot starring Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler – has started.

This is a genuine first. K-Pop: The Debut is the first major American studio film to be shot (almost) entirely in South Korea. Paramount Pictures and HYBE America brought their joint production to Seoul and the surrounding region – and the cameras stayed there for the duration of filming.

Season 1 filmed in Romania. Season 2 moved to Ireland. Season 3 stayed in Ireland – and then sent Wednesday Addams to Paris. Production officially began in February 2026 near Dublin and wrapped on September 30, 2026. Season 3 is currently in post-production, with a 2027 Netflix premiere the most realistic expectation.
